Shivani is the Founder, Executive & Artistic Director of Creatives Empowered (CE), overseeing and managing the implementation of its Vision, Mission and Values.
Launched on November 16, 2020, Creatives Empowered is a new system, and living model of social innovation.
Co-created with experienced BIPOC industry professionals, our extensive film, tv, media and arts experience was alchemised to create a non-profit that is creative, agile, resourceful, and intelligent.
We operate in ways that empower our mission and the BIPOC artists + creatives we serve, while decolonizing the non-profit system.
CREATIVES EMPOWERED is the first and only non-profit organization in Alberta for film, tv, media & arts professionals who are Black, Indigenous and People of Colour; a collective of artists + creatives empowering each other as an allied community.
